Chika Igarashi
Chika Igarashi (五十嵐 千夏 Igarashi Chika) is the younger step-brother of Iroha Igarashi. Like many of the boys around Iroha, he's also attracted to her. And has on numerous occasions tried to seduce her and pull her to him, but she's made it clear she's not interested. Since to quote they were raised together since they were five, so to her Chika is her brother.
Like the other rivals, Chika tries several times to ruin the relationship between her and Tsutsui. First beating him up and even outright demands they break up because he thought Tsutsui was beneath Iroha. After her surgery, instead of letting Iroha know about her friends and Tsutsui. He's very quiet about it at first. Even more so, he attempts to take advantage of her retrograde amnesia.
He attempts one more time to keep Iroha for himself. But its apparent Iroha has a strong instinct that makes her drawn to her old school. So seeing that he can't avoid it, he tells her about her friends and her relationship with Tsutsui.
Etymology[]
- The name Chika means "thousand" (千) (chi) and "summer" (夏) (ka).
- Chika's surname Igarashi means "fifty" (五十) (ig) and "storm, tempest" (嵐) (arashi).
